"Ouch! Dammit!"
Special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs of NCIS woke up with a loud bang and a lot of cursing, because he bumped his head into... Hell he didn't even know into what. Feeling dizzy and with a loud groan he checked his watch to see what time it was. Oh no! It's 9 am and he is late for work. Agitated and rushed he got up and ran down the stairs, trying to pull his tshirt over his head while brushing his teeth. Clearly this was going to be a rough day.
Slowing down his pace a little bit so he could make a coffee for himself before he got into his car, he squinted. Something was off, so he scanned his living room with the gaze of a seasoned special agent. Having wrapped up an extremly difficult and exhausting case, made him feel edgy and nervous. Maybe he was seeing things that weren't there... At first he didn't hear it, but his ears caught the sound of something soft and somewhat... What was it? Magical?
Alarmed, he grabbed his gun and started walking towards the hallway and frontdoor. His heart was pumping adrenaline and his pulse was racing, sweat started running down his face, damn! His last case really caught him off guard, he's never been this nervous in a dangerous situation.
As he got closer to the front door he heard someone gasping for air and all of a sudden he realized what the sound was he heard earlier. It was a tune from a music box. It took him another couple of minutes to identify the song. "A crowded room, friends with tired eyes. I'm hiding from you and your soul of ice..." Wham! And their freaking Last Christmas... Someone had a twisted sense of humor. His nervousness turned into anger, he yanked open his front door and yelled: "NCIS! Get down on the floor with your hands on the back of your head!" And he had his gun lifted, ready to shoot the minute he saw movement.
The first thing Gibbs saw was a huge christmas tree, his gaze then fell on the person in front of him. She was lying face down in the snow with her hands on the back of her head. Wiggling in the wind were two jetblack pigtails...
